Mr. Anil Kumar Choudhary is a veteran in the banking and business management industry. In the course of his 34 years of association with various economically-critical industries, he has handled with great deft and skill numerous challenging and high-profile roles in the areas of agriculture, farm & SME lending, international & branch banking and presently, as the head of the NBHC management, in developing a well-entrenched ecosystem for complete commodity and collateral management.
Prior to joining NBHC in 2006, he was initially put on deputation at the Multi-Commodity Exchange of India (MCX) by State Bank of India (SBI). Earlier, during his 24-year-long stint in the banking industry with SBI, he handled various significant portfolios, including heading SBI's San Jose (California) office and opening its new office in Central Valley of California (Fresno) and making it profitable in a short time.
Mr. Choudhary led the CII delegation to the Parliament's Standing Committee on Food, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution, to present the industry's viewpoint on the Warehousing (Development & Regulation) Bill, 2005. He is also a Member on the FICCI-Working Committee for Commodities as well as a Member of FICCI - Committee on Agriculture..
